Best Way To Preserve Muscle

Having trained muscle on your body really helps when it comes to getting, and staying lean.
Preserve Your Muscle
The more muscle you’ve got, the more calories you’ll burn (even at rest), which makes it easier to lose fat.

Plus, keeping your muscles well trained helps you prevent sarcopenia (loss of muscle mass) as you age… which can really make a huge difference in how you’ll be able to spend your golden years.

Matthew, one of my newsletter subscribers is asking how he can maintain his muscularity.

However, Matthew didn’t mention why he’s asking this question …

… is it because he’s a big muscular guy who has trained his entire life and he’s just tired of putting things up and putting them down again and wants to find an alternative to that kind of lifestyle?

Or has he recently been injured and wants to hang on to the muscle he’s got while he recuperates from whatever ails him?

Or worse, has he been permanently injured and hopes to hang on to his muscularity even though he’s not going to be able to work those particular muscles ever again?

But regardless of his reasons, what alternatives does one have if they don’t want to or aren’t able to do strength training … but they want to keep whatever muscle they’ve already got on their body?

Since maintaining muscle IS important to help make losing weight easier AND it’s important to maintain functionality as you age, this should be interesting to you also:

Find a way you enjoy to give those muscles something to do on a daily basis. And don’t be afraid of lifting heavy or working those muscles hard. The more you make them work, the more muscle you will build and maintain, which ultimately will make life that much easier to live.
